... since I blogged here! My new website is up and running! I haven't actually made a big announcement yet, because I haven't finished moving in. It's still a work in progress.
I have returned from my Pacific Northwest Trip. It was a fun trip, but I did not meet as many new friends as I had hoped! This traveling thing is hard! I'm still figuring it out. I did not enjoy Vancouver, which is surprising, because so many people I talked to said they love it. Too many people for me! I constantly felt like I was bumping into someone, or nearly running someone over. Victoria was amazing! The flowers were so beautiful! I had some amazing fish, too! Seattle was cool. I will be back there next month with my family, so I didn't venture too far out. I did enjoy Pike's Place Market, although the fish was better in Victoria! I stayed near the airport in Portland and enjoyed the area much better than I did my last trip to Portland. The drive was beautiful and I enjoyed the ferry rides!!
Speaking of traveling... I'm planning to be in Des Moines next week. Still working out the dates, so let me know if you'd be interested in getting together. I'm also going to be in Champaign/Peoria the weekend of June 1. Inquire about availability!
June 8-18 I am taking a vacation! I will be mostly off grid for 10 days, maybe completely.
I'm ready for summer!! I hope you have a great one planned!!
